The Song Birds have arrived, bringing light to the new world. A journey that began in silence and darkness, with so many false starts. A breath of wind, a ray of light, a teasing promise of possibilities. Then the darkness swept in again, softly enveloping everything. New life, new beginnings, cradled in the arms of darkness. Safe, but afraid and alone. Never daring to look towards the light. Never hoping for the warmth of light. Never dreaming we could fly. Never knowing we were made to shine!

Through a process of layering using various collage papers, and other media including Surf Paint Pens, Caran d’Ache Neo Colour II, Acrylic Paint and Acrylic Ink, Pen, Gel Pen, and Ink, Pastel Pencils, Coloured Pencils, Gouache, Linda Joanne has created a world for the Song Birds to Bloom.
