A breath of wind, a ray of light, a teasing promise of possibilities. Then the darkness swept in again, softly enveloping everything. New life, new beginnings, cradled in the arms of darkness. Safe, but afraid and alone. Never daring to look towards the light. Never hoping for the warmth of light. Never dreaming we could fly. Never knowing we were made to shine!
